Call for Admission to the Joint Master’s Program in "Political Science - Integration and Governance" (PoSIG) for the 2025/26 Academic Year Opens February 15, 2025!
The PoSIG Master’s program offers a unique opportunity to study in Armenia, Austria, Albania, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Georgia, Italy, North Macedonia, and Kosovo. This two-year program is designed for international students who have completed a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and possess foundational methodological skills.
Program Highlights:
PoSIG provides modules in key areas of Political Science, including:
- Comparative Politics
- European Integration
- International Relations
- Public Administration and Policy
- Political Theory
Applications will be open from February 15 to April 15, 2025, on the PoSIG Master’s Program platform: https://www.posig.uet.edu.al
Students can customize their academic journey by selecting partner universities for their first and second years of study. Each student must attend at least two different institutions and most four, and obtains a master degree recognized by the Universities attended.

Program at the University of Trieste:
Pending national accreditation, the Department of Political and Social Sciences (DiSPeS) at the University of Trieste will offer 30 ECTS during the second semester of the first year. Courses will take place at the Gorizia Campus, featuring topics such as:
- Conflict resolution and peace building
- Democracy and Legitimacy
- European Identity and Nation building
- Project cycle management
- Strategic Studies
The Department of Political and Social Sciences (DiSPeS) integrates disciplines such as political science, sociology, law, history, economics, and linguistics to address complex societal challenges. The department operates across two campus in Trieste and Gorizia, offering undergraduate and graduate programs in Political Science, Administration, Diplomacy, and International Cooperation, European policies. It serves as a hub for interdisciplinary research on topics like public finance, cultural organizations, sustainability, and human rights, emphasizing European and international contexts.
Financial Aid:
Based on the Erasmus+ KA 171 Call for 2023, 5 months PoSIG student grants are available for incoming students (eligible students from partner universities) to attend classes at the University of Trieste, and outgoing students Units to attend classes at the partner Universities.
