TERMS OF REFERENCE FOR TWAS PRIZES INTERN (Winter 2014/2015)

TWAS Prizes office is searching a talented young individual fluent in English, aged between 18 and 25 to undertake an Internship of up to 5 weeks during Winter 2014/2015.

It offers the opportunity to gain international experience in a multicultural environment.

The incumbent will be requested to commit part-time (50%) working hours during mornings to perform the following duties:

 Assist with data processing of TWAS Prizes nominations using MS Word and Filemaker Pro database management system;

 Update a list of Prizes offered by other International Organizations, providing details on deadlines, main subject areas, etc.;

 Assist in filing hard copies of general correspondence;

 Undertake other duties as required.

This is a volunteer position; as the position is unpaid.

A letter of reference will be prepared at the end of the Internship period.
